While we meet in a 200 year old historic building, we believe that the followers of Jesus Christ are "The Church". Our fellowship offers the nearby communities a means to become part of a caring group of believers that strives to grow in their love for God and one another. Our History
Shiloh Bible Church began with several dedicated families seeking a Bible believing church in the Vernon NY area. We met together in homes for the first seven years; holding Sunday worship and mid-week Bible studies while looking for a permanent home. In due time the Lord orchestrated a meeting with leaders of the Mt. Vernon Presbyterian Church who were looking to pass their historic Vernon, NY church building on to a new church family. In a moving combined service, Shiloh Bible Church became the new owners of the building on Rt 5 in Vernon for the same price that was paid for the property in 1805 - one peppercorn! We continue the slow process of restoration and updating the property, while seeking to be a light of hope in the greater Vernon community.
